    Overview

    1Password is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its growing team in Canada. The role involves driving the sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and managing inbound leads, serving as the first point of contact for prospective customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Proactively identify and engage prospects through outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and email campaigns.
    • Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing efforts by understanding prospect needs and determining their fit for the solutions offered.
    • Conduct engaging conversations with prospects to understand their business challenges and communicate the value of 1Password's offerings.
    • Research and gather information on target accounts to develop outreach strategies and maximize engagement.
    • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handoff in the sales process.
    • Record all activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system to support reporting and pipeline visibility.
    • Collaborate with Account Executives and sales managers to refine outreach efforts and approach.
    • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities generated.
    • Continuously build knowledge of products and market landscape to effectively communicate value propositions.
    • Apply feedback from coaching sessions to improve outreach and objection-handling techniques.

    Requirements

    • 0-1+ years of relevant customer-facing experience, preferably in sales or a related role.
    • Genuine interest in a sales career and eagerness to solve customer problems.
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Foundational business acumen and understanding of revenue generation.
    • Proficiency with basic computer applications and an aptitude for learning new technology.
    • Resilient, self-motivated, and committed to achieving targets in a remote environment.
    • Curious and coachable, with the ability to embrace feedback.
