    Overview

    The Nature Conservancy seeks a dedicated Carbon Project Manager to lead and manage projects within the Natural Climate Solutions Accelerator (NCSA) program. This full-time, remote role involves overseeing project design phases, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting the development of high-integrity carbon projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee a diverse portfolio of carbon projects from initiation to implementation
    • Lead project teams through scope, schedule, and budget development
    • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular stakeholder updates
    • Manage relationships between NCSA and regional Business Unit partners
    • Coordinate the delivery of Business Incubator cohorts
    • Contribute to scaling and optimizing the Incubator’s offerings
    • Manage data systems for project tracking
    • Track programmatic budgets, KPIs, and prepare quarterly reports

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience
    • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
    • Familiarity with business model development and social enterprises
    • Multilingual skills preferred
    • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is desirable
    • Knowledge of carbon markets or climate finance is a plus

    Benefits

    • Salary range for U.S. applicants: $80,000 – $110,000 annually
    • For international applicants: Salary will be in local currency
    • Flexible regarding country of employment where TNC has an entity
