    Overview

    The EU Food Policy Coalition is seeking a Coordinator to lead sustainable food advocacy in Brussels. This full-time position involves strategic planning and engaging with stakeholders to support systemic change in EU food policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the Coalition’s strategic plan in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Coordinate activities and events, including policy position drafting with participant support.
    • Engage with EU decision-makers and key stakeholders.
    • Oversee and execute the communications strategy, including social media and newsletters.
    • Lead fundraising efforts and cultivate donor relationships.
    • Oversee project implementation and office management.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Strong understanding of EU decision-making processes and food policy frameworks.
    • Proven advocacy experience within the EU context.
    • Demonstrated leadership in coalition building, project management, and fundraising.
    • Valid EU work permit or citizenship.
    • Fluency in English (C1 or above); additional EU languages (French, Spanish) are highly desirable.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools and Microsoft Office.

    Benefits
