Chief of Staff, Online Grocery @Instacart

Overview

Instacart is transforming the grocery industry, aiming to ensure everyone has access to the food they love while providing safe and flexible earnings opportunities. The Chief of Staff for Online Grocery will partner with the General Manager to optimize operations for a team of approximately 200 across product, design, research, and technical program management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve the operating rhythm for the GM and organization including leadership team syncs and planning reviews.
• Manage the GM's operating cadence by prioritizing workstreams and ensuring tasks receive appropriate attention.
• Clarify decision rights, build frameworks for decision making, and ensure effective communication of decisions across stakeholders.
• Prepare briefings and coordinate research for the GM's meetings with partners and key leaders.
• Drive executive communication with the C-suite and board on Online Grocery priorities.
• Help diagnose and address organizational issues to strengthen culture and trust.
• Support the GM in driving annual and long-range planning for Online Grocery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience.
• R&D experience in product, design, engineering, or technical program management.
• Background in consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or finance with executive interaction experience.
• High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills at an executive level.
• Exceptional program management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively.

Location
