Overview
ClickHouse is seeking an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to join their Observability organization. This position involves working with the Observability Platform and Internal Observability teams to build and operate systems that handle high-scale telemetry processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems for telemetry ingestion, processing, and storage at scale.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, capacity, and cost-efficiency of telemetry pipelines and storage systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and assist in resolving production incidents.
- Develop software and automation to minimize repetitive operational tasks.
- Identify architectural bottlenecks and contribute to the scaling roadmap.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and service teams.
- Contribute to architecture and design reviews, enhancing engineering quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating large-scale production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language.
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.
- Production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with telemetry systems, including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
