Key Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of time on pre-sales opportunities to understand customer use cases and demonstrate the value of dbt Cloud.
• Consult with potential customers to identify their data challenges and explain how dbt Cloud can address them.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of dbt Cloud showcasing its technical and business impact.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, building trust-based relationships and offering strategic input throughout the sales process.
• Maintain relationships with technical stakeholders within accounts.
• Partner with internal teams to improve collaboration and product development based on customer feedback.
• Create and share educational content through live events, blog posts, and tutorials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a data practitioner or consultant in data operations or analytics.
• Strong technical foundation with knowledge of modern data warehousing architectures and proficiency in SQL.
• Prior experience with dbt is preferred; certification is a bonus.
• Experience working in a partially remote, distributed team.
• Comfort presenting to diverse stakeholders in external-facing roles.
• Able to function in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Team player willing to collaborate closely with Account Executives.
• Willingness to travel for relationship-building activities.
