Commercial Solutions Architect - Texas @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is on a mission to simplify data access. The company, along with dbt Labs, aims to help organizations unlock the full value of their data by providing a robust data infrastructure. This role focuses on demonstrating the value of dbt Cloud to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in pre-sales opportunities to understand customer use cases and demonstrate the value of dbt Cloud.
• Consult with potential customers to identify data challenges and explain how dbt Cloud addresses these issues.
• Deliver tailored demos of dbt Cloud and provide expert guidance on its technical and business impact.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and maintain relationships with technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and serve as the voice of the customer in product discussions.
• Create educational resources through live events, blog posts, and tutorials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data operations or analytics.
• Strong foundation in modern data warehousing architectures and proficiency in SQL.
• Prior experience with dbt is preferred; certification is a bonus.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a partially remote, distributed team.
• Comfort in presenting to various stakeholders.
• Team player with a willingness to travel for events.

Location

This role is based in Austin, Texas, with an expectation of being in the office 2-3 days per week.
