Compliance, Employment & Litigation Counsel @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran and dbt are seeking an experienced Compliance, Employment & Litigation Counsel to join the Legal team. This role focuses on global compliance, employment counseling, and employment-related legal support across the United States and potentially internationally, while also assisting with various dispute and litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures related to ethics, export control, sanctions, anti-corruption, and conflicts of interest.
• Conduct internal investigations of compliance issues and oversee compliance training and programs.
• Advise the People Team and business partners on a wide range of employment law matters across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employment-related claims, administrative charges, demand letters, arbitrations, and litigation matters.
• Collaborate effectively with all business teams to provide solution-oriented legal advice.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice.
• 4-7 years of experience in compliance, employment, and/or litigation.
• Strong judgment and ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Location
