Compliance, Employment & Litigation Counsel @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran and dbt are seeking an experienced Compliance, Employment & Litigation Counsel to join their Legal team. This role will focus on global compliance, employment counseling, and employment-related legal support across the United States and potentially internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop policies related to ethics, export control, sanctions, anti-corruption, and conflicts of interest.
• Conduct internal investigations of compliance issues and manage compliance training programs.
• Advise on a wide range of employment law matters across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employment-related claims and litigation matters.
• Collaborate with all business teams to deliver practical legal advice.
• Support organizational changes and monitor legal developments.
• Develop scalable legal processes that support a high-growth technology business.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
• 4-7 years of experience in compliance, employment, and/or litigation.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving mentality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work across time zones and some travel may be required.
• Preferred: In-house experience and supporting high-growth technology companies.

Location

This role is a full-time hybrid position based in Austin, TX, with a requirement of two days in the office each week.
