Compliance Operations Specialist 1 @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist 1 to monitor the use of Twilio products, ensuring compliance with various policies and regulations. This remote role is based in Colombia and focuses on identifying and preventing fraud in communication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate cases efficiently and analyze bad actor behavior to become a subject matter expert in compliance investigations.
• Protect Twilio customers through ongoing identification of non-compliant activities and bad actors.
• Identify trends and root causes to recommend preventative solutions.
• Utilize call detail records and aggregate traffic data to detect patterns.
• Resolve urgent issues that affect businesses, carriers, and consumers worldwide.
• Use Twilio’s tools and investigative skills to prevent non-compliant activities.
• Support customers via email to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in fraud, abuse, or compliance within e-commerce, FinTech, or telecommunications.
• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with industry partners to resolve issues and build trust.
• Desired skills include basic knowledge of Zendesk, Airtable, Looker or similar tools, and an understanding of APIs.
• Background in telecommunications is preferred.
