Compliance Operations Specialist 1 @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist 1 to monitor the use of its products across voice, SMS, and email, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. This role is fully remote and allows employees to work effectively while maintaining a commitment to monitoring traffic for compliance and fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate cases efficiently and perform analysis to understand bad actor behavior.
• Identify and take action against non-compliant activity to protect customers and consumers.
• Identify trends and recommend preventive solutions against bad actors.
• Analyze call detail records and traffic data to discern patterns.
• Resolve urgent compliance issues impacting businesses and consumers globally.
• Use Twilio’s tools for detection and prevention of non-compliant activities.
• Provide customer support via email to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in fraud, abuse, or compliance within e-commerce, FinTech, or telecommunications.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with industry partners.
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Zendesk, Airtable, or Looker is preferred.
• Understanding of APIs and telecommunications is desired.
