Overview
Figma is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to establish a new standard for corporate communications at a public company. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams to tell impactful stories across various formats and channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive Figma’s corporate storytelling strategy from narrative development to execution.
- Create integrated campaigns that effectively communicate through media, owned platforms, and executive communications.
- Translate business momentum into compelling stories and campaigns.
- Work with executives to shape narratives for business and financial audiences.
- Develop breakthrough story angles that position Figma at the center of industry and cultural conversations.
- Proactively create opportunities in line with the news cycle.
- Expand influence as the company scales.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in in-house communications.
- Proven track record of building and scaling communications programs.
- Strong business and cultural fluency for translating complex topics into clear narratives.
- Experience in fast-paced environments where direction is not always defined.
- Experience with innovative storytelling beyond conventional PR approaches.
- Preferred: Understanding of product design, software development, or cloud-native applications.
