Customer Solutions Architect, Manager @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran and dbt Labs are looking for a Manager to lead their Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) function within the Field Engineering team in EMEA. This role is critical in driving customer expansion and retention across their Commercial and Enterprise portfolios, ensuring strategic technical ownership for significant customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Senior and Lead Customer Solutions Architects across NEMEA, DACH, and France/Benelux.
• Account for expansion and retention outcomes, measured on Incremental ARR, Net Revenue Retention, and Gross Revenue Retention.
• Develop and mature the CSA function, formalizing methodology and evolving operational practices.
• Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership to align the CSA motion with regional GTM priorities.
• Oversee portfolio planning, ensuring appropriate coverage and account management.
• Enable team development through coaching, managing career development plans, and fostering growth.
• Utilize operational data to drive proactive management and differentiate the CSA role.
• Collaborate with partners to unlock cross-portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Identify attrition and churn risks using data-driven strategies to protect accounts.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in post-sales technical roles within SaaS, cloud, or data integration environments.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link technical engagements to measurable business outcomes.
• Technical familiarity with cloud data platforms and data integration tools.
• Experience managing senior technical teams with a focus on coaching and advocacy.
• Stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional peers and customer stakeholders.
• Proficient in using data and AI tooling for decision-making.
• Adaptability to work across different sales cultures and customer profiles within EMEA.
• Analytical mindset to leverage metrics for accountability and decision-making.
• Growth orientation to thrive in dynamic environments.
