CX Technology Program Manager @Instacart

Overview

Instacart's Customer Experience & Operations organization supports millions of customers, shoppers, and partners. The CX Technology Programs team drives the development and deployment of technology solutions that improve support experience. The CX Technology Program Manager will join a small team to manage an ambitious chatbot automation program, focusing on automation and product execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end planning and coordination for chatbot automation initiatives across Shopper and Customer support programs.
• Drive program execution while adapting to shifting priorities and an evolving roadmap.
• Build and maintain operational infrastructure for the CX Technology Programs team, ensuring clear communication and tracking.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and CX operations teams to execute automation solutions aligned with business goals.
• Identify gaps, surface blockers, and propose solutions to enhance planning and coordination efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management or related fields, preferably in technology, e-commerce, or customer experience.
• Experience managing multiple programs with cross-functional stakeholders and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with automation, AI, or chatbot technology programs and operational deployment.
• Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and using data to track progress.
• Proven ability to operate independently and create structure in ambiguous environments.
