Overview

Figma is seeking a Data Science Intern to join their team, contributing to the mission of making design accessible to all. The interns will work on technical challenges that have a real impact on Figma's product and business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business questions into data problems.
• Evaluate experiments and surface metrics that guide product decisions.
• Build models to understand user behavior and predict growth.
• Design data pipelines and tools for scalable and accessible product data.
• Work on projects that may include improving experimentation accuracy and velocity, investigating user behavior, building internal data infrastructure, and exploring growth opportunities through KPI research.

Requirements

• Experience with Python (or similar scripting language) and SQL.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods or data systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data infrastructure concepts or large-scale data pipelines.
