Overview
Twilio is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support its North American Go-to-Market motion. This role involves contributing to non-standard commercial agreements by providing financial governance and analysis while collaborating closely with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze deal economics for agreements, focusing on pricing, discounting, and gross margin impacts.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals while adhering to financial guidelines.
- Build and maintain financial models and pricing scenarios for senior leadership approval.
- Oversee the Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, ensuring data integrity and policy compliance.
- Establish trusted relationships across departments to streamline deal processes.
- Educate Sales and GTM teams on internal contracting policies and governance.
- Review and structure non-standard contract language in alignment with corporate policies.
- Identify and address recurring deal patterns and operational inefficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, or a similar role; or at least 4 years of relevant analytical experience without a degree.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with a clear understanding of financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for building financial models and conducting analyses.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple requests under tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with high integrity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
