Overview

The role of Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) at Databricks involves collaborating with sales and field engineering teams to promote the adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand plans for prioritized customers.
• Lead the technical account strategy and execution plan post-technical win.
• Act as the accountable technical leader for specific use cases and customers across multiple teams.
• Serve as the first contact for technical issues related to production and go-live status.
• Leverage various internal resources for technical resolutions beyond personal expertise.
• Create and execute strategies for accelerating production use cases in collaboration with Professional Services.
• Navigate product and engineering teams for innovations and upgrades.
• Develop comprehensive execution plans for customer-facing technical roles.
• Provide updates and KPI reporting on usage and customer health to Technical GM.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project delivery within Data and AI.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as pre-sales or consulting.
• Understanding of distributed data systems and solution architecture.
• Ability to connect project deliverables to business value and outcomes.
• Experience in managing complex escalation issues with senior executives.
• Strong skills in conducting workshops and managing complex program deliveries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% when necessary.
