Overview

1Password is seeking an Intermediate Developer to join their Everyday Experience team, focusing on enhancing how customers use 1Password while ensuring reliability, usability, and trust in core product experiences. This is a remote role available in the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the team's codebases, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
• Participate in the complete lifecycle of a feature, from planning through development to release and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Security, Browser, Backend, and Infrastructure.
• Utilize AI tooling for development, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Contribute to planning and estimation within the team, promoting best practices in code reviews.
• Empower customer support teams to address product issues and gather feedback.
• Investigate and suggest improvements for team workflows and tools.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Rust and experience in developing complex systems.
• Experience with backend services, CI/CD, and operational workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams.
• Comfortable with ramping into complex codebases quickly.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to make trade-offs across quality, speed, and reliability.
• Bonus points for experience in building backend services with Go and hands-on experience with AWS.
