Overview

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The role of Director, GTM Strategy & Planning involves leading a team responsible for Fivetran's most significant go-to-market (GTM) decisions as the company scales globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of GTM strategy and planning professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive the annual and ongoing GTM planning cycle in partnership with executive leadership, translating business objectives into an integrated revenue organization plan.
• Own the headcount planning process, partnering with Finance and People to model capacity.
• Design and execute global quota-setting and territory planning processes for revenue maximization.
• Drive strategic decisions across revenue organization, including market segmentation and coverage model design.
• Manage pipeline model and revenue growth forecasts in collaboration with Finance.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Product to prioritize sales strategies.
• Develop specific GTM strategies based on market dynamics and opportunities.
• Build the strategic planning frameworks and deliverables for executive-level decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years in sales strategy, revenue strategy, or GTM strategy in a B2B SaaS environment.
• 4+ years managing and developing a team, with a strong track record.
• Experience with quota design, territory planning, and headcount modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen for modeling and strategic direction.
• Knowledge of B2B SaaS go-to-market models.
• Experience designing sales compensation structures.
• Ability to operate at the executive level and drive alignment among senior stakeholders.
• Experience with market sizing and entry prioritization frameworks.

Location

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of Oakland, Denver, Austin, or New York. The hybrid model includes two days in the office each week.
