Director, GTM Strategy & Planning @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Director, GTM Strategy & Planning to lead strategic go-to-market (GTM) decisions for their growing data pipeline solutions. This full-time, hybrid role is aimed at aligning the GTM strategies of Fivetran and dbt Labs, helping organizations make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of GTM strategy and planning professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive the annual and ongoing GTM planning cycle with senior leadership, translating business objectives into integrated plans.
• Own headcount planning and capacity models for the revenue organization.
• Design global quota-setting and territory planning processes.
• Make key strategic decisions regarding market segmentation and revenue team structure.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams on high-impact sales plays and persona targeting.
• Evaluate market entry opportunities and develop geography-specific GTM strategies.
• Build frameworks, models, and deliverables for data-driven decision-making at the executive level.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in sales, revenue strategy, or GTM strategy in a B2B SaaS environment.
• 4+ years of management experience with a track record of developing high-functioning teams.
• Experience with quota design, territory planning, and headcount modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of B2B SaaS go-to-market models and sales motion optimization.
• Ability to operate at the executive level and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with market assessment and entry strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
