Director of Solutions Architecture-India/ASEAN @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is a cloud-first company on a mission to grow a vibrant user community. They are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to build, lead, and scale their Solutions Architecture function across India and ASEAN.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale the India & ASEAN Solutions Architecture team, establishing technical standards and fostering a customer-first culture.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive successful outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor, engaging with stakeholders from C-suite to architects and developers.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Guide high-impact proofs of concept (POCs) that support adoption and expansion.
• Evangelise ClickHouse's vision and value proposition across the APJ market through various outreach initiatives.
• Drive regional initiatives that convert raw data into actionable business insights.
• Provide field feedback to inform product strategy and execution.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Solutions Architecture or Sales Engineering with prior people management experience.
• Strong background in open-source software and cloud-first technologies.
• Hands-on experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with technical engagement when necessary.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fast-growing environments and building early-stage teams.
