Director, Strategic Finance - Consolidation @Instacart

Overview

The Director of Strategic Finance – Consolidation will integrate financial inputs and provide a coherent view of the company’s performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated financial view, ensuring a trusted P&L forecast and quality close cycle with meaningful management reporting.
• Deliver accurate and insightful board decks, investor materials, and quarterly business review packages.
• Build scalable forecasting processes and design Business Unit P&Ls to enhance accountability and decision-making.
• Develop and manage a high-performing finance team to raise analytical standards and process discipline.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in a finance role with a strong financial acumen.
• Experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance, particularly at a high-growth or public technology company.
• Deep understanding of GAAP financial statements and financial modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills for distilling complex financial data.
• Strong people management experience and ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• MBA preferred and familiarity with financial planning systems is an asset.
