Overview

1Password is seeking a Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO) for North America East, focusing on enterprise identity security and serving as the senior customer-facing technical advisor. This remote role is available to candidates within the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise engagement and influence technological decision-making with executive leaders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for diverse stakeholders.
• Participate in strategic customer meetings and architecture reviews to solve identity and access challenges.
• Create repeatable playbooks and technical motions for the Solutions Engineering organization.
• Mentor and elevate the capabilities of senior Solutions Engineers.
• Represent 1Password at conferences, advisory boards, and industry events.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to influence product strategy and development.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven ability to influence executive technology leaders within Fortune 500 companies.
• Deep expertise in identity management, cloud security, and AI security.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and sales methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
