Fraud Specialist 1 @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Fraud Operations Specialist to join its global team and help combat fraud and abuse on its communications platform. This remote position is based in Estonia and requires a curious and analytical individual to protect customers through effective fraud prevention and response strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate cases efficiently and analyze non-compliant traffic to understand bad actor behavior.
• Identify fraudulent activity and take daily action to stop bad actors while minimizing false positives.
• Recognize trends and root causes, recommending preventative solutions.

Requirements

• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong bias for action.
• Previous customer service or customer-facing role experience requiring effective communication.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools is preferred.
• Understanding of APIs and related technologies.
• 1-2 years of experience in a queue-based/contact center environment is desirable.
