    Overview

    The Gender-Based Violence Case Worker at Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is responsible for planning, implementing, and providing quality case management to GBV survivors while working closely with a team of volunteers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide psycho-social support and psychological first aid to GBV survivors.
    • Conduct assessments, develop action plans, and manage cases according to GBV standards.
    • Document cases and maintain records using GBVIMS.
    • Facilitate referrals for survivors to relevant services such as health and child protection.
    • Organize case conferences and provide capacity-building training to Protection Volunteers.
    • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the supervisor.
    • Promote PSEA standards within PUI and with beneficiaries.
    • Supervise and support Protection Volunteers.

    Requirements

    • University degree in Social Science, Psychology, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in GBV programming and case management.
    • Good command of English and fluency in Hausa and/or Kanuri.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
    • Understanding of gender issues and violence against women.
