Overview

The MEAL Officer at Première Urgence Internationale (PUI) will support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities in the field, ensuring data quality and assisting project staff in effective performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Implement the Monitoring & Evaluation Plan by ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
Produce monitoring checklists and conduct regular field process monitoring and quality assessments.
Train project staff on M&E systems and tools, including survey sampling and evaluations.
Update managers on daily achievements and participate in weekly meetings.
Develop reports synthesizing key findings and results.
Engage in ongoing training and knowledge-building initiatives.
Respond to beneficiaries’ queries effectively.

Requirements

Fluent in Hausa and English; Kanuri is an asset.
Diploma or degree in social sciences, Statistics, Demography, or Sociology.
At least two years of relevant experience with NGOs.
Strong analytical and writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office and data collection software.
Well organized, attentive to detail, and capable of conflict resolution.
