Overview

Project HOPE Nigeria is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the Nigeria Hypertension Control Initiative (NHCI) in Kano State, focusing on improving hypertension outcomes and health system strengthening.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the design and implementation of the NHCI.
Ensure effective planning, resource allocation, and monitoring of hypertension services.
Drive operational and fiscal planning, including development of annual workplans and budgets.
Lead stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
Oversee training and capacity-building activities for health personnel.
Ensure timely submission of program and donor reports.
Represent Project HOPE at national and local health coordination platforms.

Requirements

A Medical Degree (MBBS) and a Master’s Degree in Public Health or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in public health.
Strong understanding of Nigeria’s health system.
Experience in implementing hypertension control and NCD programs.
Advanced analytical skills with familiarity in tools such as Epi Info, SPSS, GIS.
Excellent communication skills in English.
