Our client, a leading distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across Nigeria, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources & Administration. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven professional who can effectively manage people, policies, and processes while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives.
Oversee performance management and employee appraisal processes.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce capability.
Oversee payroll administration, leave management, and employee records.
Drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
Supervise administrative operations and ensure efficient office management.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management presentations.
Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership and department heads.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
