Job Summary
ILGA World is seeking an experienced and dedicated Individual Giving and Corporate Support Specialist to enhance support from individual donors and values-aligned corporate supporters.
The role aims to strengthen ILGA World’s independence and long-term sustainability through strategic fundraising efforts.
This remote, part-time position is a fixed-term contract of 18 months, with potential renewal or extension based on performance and funding availability.
The successful candidate will develop and implement supporter engagement activities, grow monthly giving programs, and support corporate support growth, aligning with ILGA World’s strategic goals outlined in the 2025–2029 plan.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Fundraising Development
- Develop and implement an 18-month work plan for individual giving and corporate support
- Lead the design and delivery of 2 to 3 supporter campaigns annually
- Build and expand a monthly giving program, including proposition development and supporter communications
- Strengthen donor stewardship practices, including impact updates and acknowledgements
- Support the cultivation of mid-size and major gifts through prospect research and stewardship
Corporate Support Growth
- Stabilize and grow values-aligned corporate partnerships
- Implement corporate ethical screening and due diligence processes
- Develop supporter offers that reflect ILGA World’s mission and values
Systems and Reporting
- Improve fundraising systems, including GlobalGiving and Donorbox platforms
- Maintain accurate donor data, segmentation, and reporting
- Coordinate with finance for reconciliation and data management
- Monitor progress and report on KPIs, including income, donor retention, and campaign performance
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the Fundraising and MEL Manager, communications, finance, and programs teams
- Develop supporter-facing narratives and materials aligned with ILGA World’s values
- Ensure fundraising activities adhere to policies on safeguarding, data protection, and ethical standards
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in fundraising, communications, or related fields, with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or
- First-level university degree with 7+ years of experience; or
- 9+ years of relevant experience in supporter engagement and income generation
Skills & Knowledge
- Proven experience planning and executing fundraising campaigns
- Strong skills in supporter journey design, donor stewardship, and major gift cultivation
- Familiarity with online fundraising platforms (GlobalGiving, Donorbox)
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively across multicultural and international environments
- Knowledge of data protection and ethical fundraising practices
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary range: 28,371 CHF to 40,530 CHF per annum (pro-rated for part-time)
- 32 days pro-rated annual leave and public holidays
