Insights Lead, Instacart Business @Instacart

Overview

Instacart is looking for a Business Insights Lead to support the rapid scaling of Instacart Business, including Instacart Health. This role focuses on building reporting infrastructure and analytical frameworks to turn raw data into decision-making insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a trusted reporting system for Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders, providing timely and accurate business performance insights.
• Establish an external partner reporting program with clear frameworks and reliable delivery cadences.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to diagnose performance gaps and identify actionable growth opportunities.
• Manage recurring analytical programs, including retention, cohort analysis, and pipeline health.
• Enhance the analytics foundation by addressing reporting coverage and creating scalable self-service tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or insights, including 2+ years in a B2B context.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end reporting programs.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Mode).
• Experience in building recurring business-line reports and analytical frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to convey analytical findings and influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with sales performance metrics and customer retention frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Benefits

Instacart offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, including a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants. Specific base pay for this role ranges from CAD $133,000 to $140,500, depending on the candidate's location.

Location

This is a remote position available only for candidates located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
