Overview

This remote role at Instacart involves leading insights for the Instacart Business, focusing on building data reporting infrastructure and delivering high-quality analytical insights. The position supports commercial teams and external partners by ensuring reliable data to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a trusted reporting system providing partner-level insights and dashboards.
• Establish an external partner reporting program with reliable delivery cadences and consistent data quality.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities within Instacart Business and Health.
• Run recurring analytical programs to track key metrics for commercial success.
• Close gaps in reporting coverage and create scalable self-service tools for better data utilization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or insights, including 2+ years in a B2B or GTM-facing context.
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end reporting programs from data sourcing to stakeholder communication.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Experience in maintaining full business-line reports and analytical frameworks at scale.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly present analytical findings to influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with sales performance metrics and customer retention frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Benefits

Instacart offers competitive compensation and benefits. Base pay for this role ranges from $133,000 to $140,500 CAD, depending on the location within Canada.

Location

This is a remote position available only in the following Canadian provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
