Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security to join their global sales engineering specialist team. This role is focused on collaborating with sales and engineering teams to meet customer security needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales and field engineering teams with deep technical knowledge regarding Fivetran’s internal security operations and platform features.
• Deliver timely and accurate responses to customer security questionnaires.
• Work with Legal and AppSec to maintain internal libraries for security questionnaires.
• Lead documentation and enablement efforts within the department.
• Engage directly with customers on security architecture reviews and compliance discussions.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in the security domain.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a security administrator, backend engineer, field CISO, or IT services in a complex environment.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud and on-premise network architectures and data security.
• Ability to communicate Fivetran’s security posture effectively.
• Passion for data, security, analytics, and the use of technology to solve business problems.
• Experience with trust center management platforms and questionnaire automation software.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, SQL, and Python is a plus.
