Overview

This role offers the opportunity to strengthen economic resilience and empower vulnerable communities through sustainable livelihood interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement livelihood and economic empowerment programs
Mobilize and engage beneficiaries across target communities
Conduct field visits, trainings, and sensitization sessions
Lead data collection, including baseline and monitoring assessments
Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices
Maintain accurate beneficiary records and activity reports
Coordinate with community leaders, stakeholders, and local authorities
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, accountability, and organizational policies

Requirements

Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies, Sociology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
2–3 years of experience in livelihoods, community development, or humanitarian work
Strong skills in project implementation and community engagement
Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and documentation
Good communication skills in English (local language is an advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
