Machine Learning Engineer @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design and engineer AI-powered features that enhance customer conversations. This remote position based in Ireland offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced ML practitioners to build solutions that analyze voice and messaging data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning solutions, ensuring accuracy, performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain end-to-end AI/ML pipelines including data ingestion and model deployment.
• Monitor model performance and operational health through metrics and logging.
• Participate in on-call rotations and execute rollouts to maintain production services.
• Collaborate with teams during planning, design, and code review phases to enhance product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied ML.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience with NLP libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, or SpaCy.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various audiences.
