Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects - Emerging Enterprise @Databricks

Overview

The role of Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects is focused on building, leading, and inspiring a team that helps innovative, fast-growing customers accelerate their journey from idea to production on the Databricks Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of Delivery Solutions Architects (DSA) guiding customers to production success.
• Accelerate the path to production by minimizing friction and streamlining onboarding.
• Maintain technical excellence by staying current with Databricks and the Data and AI ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services to create integrated customer plans.
• Establish mechanisms for tracking workload progress, usage growth, and customer health.
• Serve as a thought leader and technical sponsor for select accounts.
• Drive initiatives that enhance DSA organization consistency and innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles with 3+ years in a leadership position.
• Experience in cloud-based Lakehouse architectures and guiding migrations.
• Proven track record in accelerating workloads to production.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and an Object-Oriented Programming Language (Python, SQL, or Scala).
• Expertise in Data and AI domains, such as Analytics and ML/AI productionization.
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
