    Overview

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set technical strategy for the team with a focus on critical, business-impacting projects.
    • Collaborate across teams during the product development lifecycle ensuring technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs are well understood.
    • Act as a force-multiplier by advocating for technical solutions and operational processes.
    • Take ownership of team operations and availability, ensuring proper monitoring and on-call support is in place.
    • Foster a culture of quality by establishing code review and design standards.
    • Develop talent within the team through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems using languages like Python or Kotlin.
    • Experience with highly available distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
    • Experience developing consumer experiences using UI frameworks like React.
    • 2+ years in Ad Tech or related platforms.
    • Skills in delivering major features and defining technical and execution plans.
    • Able to operate in ambiguity and understand both low-level language idioms and the architecture of large systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global team.
    • Degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
