Mid-Market Account Executive, Americas @Customer.io

Overview

Customer.io is expanding its sales team in the United States and is seeking motivated and successful Mid-Market Account Executives. The role involves full-cycle sales, representing Customer.io to prospective customers and driving growth in key market segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline through self-sourced and SDR-supported leads to drive new customer acquisition.
• Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through demo and closing.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand customer business challenges and goals.
• Collaborate with the SDR team and Customer Success for smooth post-sale hand-off.
• Report on individual sales metrics to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS or MarTech sales experience, handling mid-market accounts.
• Proven success in customer acquisition and closing deals within the B2B SaaS space.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to position relevant solutions.
• Able to manage high volumes of prospecting and cold/warm outreach.
