Payment Partner Operations, Associate @Brex

Overview

The Payment Partner Operations Associate at Brex is responsible for managing the operational foundation of Brex's external partner ecosystem. This role involves defining and improving partner programs to deliver reliable outcomes for both customers and the business in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the operating model for partner management, including processes and escalation paths.
• Establish partner SLAs, KPIs, reporting cadences, and performance-review mechanisms.
• Build reporting that provides visibility into partner performance and operational health.
• Manage fee reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of invoices and records.
• Lead operational readiness for new partners and product changes, including training and monitoring.
• Manage partner incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Create executive-ready updates on performance, risks, and financial impacts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in partner operations, payments operations, or financial operations in a regulated environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience building operating programs and defining SLAs and KPIs.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools such as SQL.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to navigate high-stakes situations.
• Builder mindset focused on scalable processes and automation.
