Senior Data Scientist @Customer.io

Overview

The Senior Data Scientist at Customer.io will partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to enhance decision-making using customer and product data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze behavioral patterns across the customer lifecycle to identify trends and opportunities for improving adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Design experiments and measurement approaches to evaluate the impact of product and marketing changes.
• Build models and datasets to improve customer segmentation, forecasting, and trend identification.
• Apply machine learning and AI techniques to solve practical problems.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to enhance data quality and accessibility.
• Communicate findings clearly to enable informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Science role within B2B SaaS or a similar environment.
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and behavioral analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery; familiarity with dbt is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex analyses to diverse stakeholders.
• An ownership mindset with initiative in problem definition and resolution.

Benefits
