    Overview

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead technical discovery across various government programs to understand AI governance and secure software development requirements.
    • Shape early technical requirements to reflect Docker's unique value propositions.
    • Design and execute PoCs and PoVs that demonstrate Docker's capabilities in secure software supply chain integrity.
    • Influence decision-making through demonstrations, workshops, and architecture reviews.
    • Establish credibility as an advisor on responsible AI practices and software supply chain security.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal security and accreditation frameworks.
    • Build and maintain relationships with technical champions within agencies.
    • Advocate for the needs of federal customers with internal Product and Engineering teams.
    • Support competitive strategies and partner-led motions in federal programs.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years in technical pre-sales roles, specifically in infrastructure software, developer tools, or security products.
    • 3+ years of experience selling into the US Federal sector.
    • Knowledge of federal security frameworks: FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGs.
    • Experience running competitive PoCs with defined success criteria.
    • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and major cloud platforms.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • US citizenship required.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
