Principal Solutions Architect (West Coast or Mountain) @Docker

Overview

The role of Principal Solutions Architect at Docker involves supporting key customers in their container and AI journeys, combining technical depth with business acumen in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-priority customer technical leadership by working with Docker’s most important customers and cross-functional teams to accelerate their journeys.
• Engage with customers to understand their technical and business goals and challenges.
• Create and manage engagement plans to achieve critical business goals, including overseeing rapid prototyping engagements.
• Deliver high-impact enablement content to various customer audiences.
• Act as a thought leader within the organization and gather field feedback to improve products.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to align workflows with customer needs.
• Assist with internal technical enablement for new products and services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and application architectures.
• Preferred experience with Docker and adjacent technologies.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
