Overview

Figma is seeking a technically-minded Product Designer to improve how design, code, and AI-powered workflows integrate at the company. This role involves shaping new workflows and extending Figma's capabilities into developer tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and prototype workflows connecting design and production code, including AI-powered experiences.
• Contribute to product direction strategy and decision-making.
• Deliver clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, UX writing, data science, and research teams.
• Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals; provide feedback to peers.
• Design and ship high-quality features and product improvements.
• Participate in design critiques and mentor peers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software products.
• Strong visual craft across composition, typography, layout, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Ability to independently drive end-to-end design processes.
• Experience with technically complex products, ideally developer tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered or nondeterministic interactions is a plus.
