Product Manager @Oddball

Overview

Oddball is seeking a Product Manager to join the VA team, focusing on the backend capabilities that power a significant Veteran health portal. The company aims to improve lives through quality software in the federal space.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria while keeping priorities actionable.
• Partner with engineering, design, and VA stakeholders to translate requirements into well-scoped, deliverable product work.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Track delivery progress, identify blockers, and manage dependencies to ensure team momentum.
• Use data, user research, and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and product decisions.
• Communicate clearly across engineering, design, and government stakeholder teams to maintain alignment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on federal health IT programs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Health or similar EHR platforms is strongly preferred.
• VA program experience is a strong plus.
• Strong backlog management skills, including user story writing and MVP definition.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding consistent sprint cycles.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly, whether in planning sessions or presentations to VA leadership.
