APHRC is currently recruiting for several strategic roles across its regional offices to support high-impact projects, strengthen institutional capacity, and enhance policy influence across Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and oversee research and project implementation activities.
    • Coordinate partnerships and stakeholder engagement across regions.
    • Ensure timely delivery of outputs and adherence to project timelines.
    • Maintain compliance with donor and organizational standards.
    • Support policy engagement and knowledge dissemination.
    • Support day-to-day project operations and coordination.
    • Assist in managing timelines, deliverables, and reporting.
    • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders.
    • Provide administrative and logistical support.
    • Develop and implement communication strategies.
    • Produce high-quality visual and audiovisual content.
    • Translate research findings into policy-relevant messaging.
    • Strengthen stakeholder engagement and public visibility.
    • Analyze geo-economic and geopolitical trends.
    • Assess impacts on research priorities and funding sustainability.
    • Provide strategic recommendations for future positioning.
    • Identify opportunities for strengthening partnerships.

    Requirements

    • Strong experience working with major donors, including foundations and bilateral agencies.
    • Based in Nairobi with frequent regional travel.
    • Engagement with partners such as the African Union Commission and the World Bank.
    • Experience in managing complex, multi-partner projects.
    • Creativity and technical expertise in communication and multimedia production.
    • Expertise in global development and policy analysis for consultancy roles.
