Overview
The Coalition to Grow Carbon Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Coalition’s comprehensive workplan, including all workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and key dates.
- Translate the workplan into a practical, continuously updated schedule, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Monitor progress against KPIs and milestones, producing regular reports for senior stakeholders.
- Manage risks proactively, maintaining a risk register and escalating issues with proposed solutions.
- Run PMO functions, including managing documentation, tools, trackers, and frameworks.
- Act as a liaison with senior stakeholders, providing expertise on programme operations, delivery, and events.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings to uphold the Coalition’s governance framework.
- Maintain a rigorous audit trail of decisions and actions.
- Coordinate preparation for decision-making meetings, including drafting agendas.
- Lead structured engagement with external stakeholders, including advisory groups and consultations.
- Draft terms of collaboration to formalize partnerships with external organizations.
- Organize private Coalition events and convenings, managing logistics and participant coordination.
- Develop high-quality briefing materials to communicate complex issues to senior audiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrable expertise in project and programme management.
- Proven experience in implementing governance processes.
- Highly organized and systems-minded.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills with high political and organizational awareness.
- Experience in carbon markets, climate finance, or international climate policy (desirable).
- Familiarity with multi-government initiatives (desirable).
Benefits
Salary: Up to £65,000 per year (based on experience; local market rate if outside UK). Remote flexibility is offered.
