Overview

Jhpiego is inviting applications for the role of Research Interviewers/Data Collectors across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as part of the C19RM Impact Evaluation project, aimed at assessing the outcomes of COVID-19 Response Mechanism investments.

Key Responsibilities

Implement quantitative and qualitative data collection activities in health facilities and community settings.
Administer structured questionnaires such as facility readiness assessments, provider interviews, household surveys, and client exit interviews.
Conduct qualitative research methods including Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of collected data.
Participate in daily reviews and validation sessions with field supervisors.
Obtain informed consent from respondents and ensure confidentiality and privacy.
Coordinate and work closely with team members to meet targets and adhere to schedules.
Provide feedback on data collection tools and processes.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues with digital tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Health, Health Management, Social Sciences, Communications, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of relevant experience in survey data collection.
Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
Ability to work in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
Teamwork, facilitation, and coordination skills.
