Overview
Jhpiego is inviting applications for the role of Research Interviewers/Data Collectors across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as part of the C19RM Impact Evaluation project, aimed at assessing the outcomes of COVID-19 Response Mechanism investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement quantitative and qualitative data collection activities in health facilities and community settings.
- Administer structured questionnaires such as facility readiness assessments, provider interviews, household surveys, and client exit interviews.
- Conduct qualitative research methods including Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of collected data.
- Participate in daily reviews and validation sessions with field supervisors.
- Obtain informed consent from respondents and ensure confidentiality and privacy.
- Coordinate and work closely with team members to meet targets and adhere to schedules.
- Provide feedback on data collection tools and processes.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with digital tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Health, Health Management, Social Sciences, Communications, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in survey data collection.
- Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports.
- Ability to work in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
- Teamwork, facilitation, and coordination skills.
