Resident Solutions Architect @Fivetran

Overview

The role of Resident Solutions Architect involves solving challenging problems with dbt as part of the Professional Services team at Fivetran. This position is focused on empowering data developers and requires collaboration with enterprise customers in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects, including implementation, troubleshooting configurations, and solutioning.
• Consult on architecture and design.
• Ensure strategic dbt platform customers are adopting the product effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Solution Architects, and Support.
• Provide critical feedback to improve product based on customer needs.
• Become a product expert in dbt within the modern data stack.

Requirements

• Deep experience with enterprise customers in a technical architect or consulting role.
• Expertise in at least one data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• At least 2 years of experience with dbt, including 1 year with dbt platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and some Python experience.
• Strong organizational skills with project delivery management.
• Clear and concise communication skills for complex technical issues.
• Ability to thrive in a remote organization that emphasizes transparency and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel ~10% for customer visits and company events.
