Senior Application Engineer, Zuora Billing @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join their Enterprise Application Development and Operations team. This remote role focuses on the design, configuration, development, and testing of Zuora billing to support the Finance, quote, Billing, AR, Revenue, Collections, and Accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and complex product catalog design within Zuora Billing.
• Drive advanced Zuora configurations including custom workflows and data transformation pipelines.
• Design, build, and support integrations between Zuora and enterprise systems.
• Manage post-go-live production support including incident management and operational stability.
• Lead full lifecycle implementations and mentor team members.
• Execute system conversion and implementation projects.
• Conduct cross-functional requirement sessions to document and analyze business needs.
• Support daily KLO operations and stakeholder interactions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Zuora subscriptions, billing, product, and pricing management.
• Experience with integrations involving Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Banks, Payment Gateways, and Avalara tax.
• Expertise in Zuora platform, including custom events and workflows.
• Good understanding of Customer aging, AR to GL reconciliation, and month-end processes.
• Knowledge of change management and Agile methodologies.
• B.Tech or MBA degree.
