Overview
Docker is seeking a results-oriented Senior Business Development Representative to expand the Australian market. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in qualifying leads for commercial and enterprise-level accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Use prospecting strategies to connect with existing users of Docker who may acquire commercial licenses.
- Identify and understand the needs and challenges of prospective customers.
- Determine prospects' interest in Docker.
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects.
- Achieve a target number of qualified prospects and new opportunities.
- Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries about Docker products.
- Add value during every customer touchpoint to create a great first impression.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback.
- Engage in team development and mentoring.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales role.
- Proven track record of success.
- Proactive and driven attitude.
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills.
- Willingness to understand the industry and product value propositions.
- High integrity and a team-first mentality.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Native English fluency required; a second language such as German, French, or Spanish is a plus.
