Senior Claims Operations Specialist @Lyft

Overview

Lyft is looking for a Senior Claims Operations Specialist to join its growing Risk Team. The role involves processing claims and responding to inquiries to enhance the claims experience for users through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Create initial loss reports and assist with processes for Lyft Healthcare, Bikes, and Scooters.
• Respond to and assist with customer inquiries related to claims.
• Request additional information for claim processing completion.
• Manage and coordinate follow-up for accidents, including claim searches and adjuster contacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams regarding claims processes and customer experience.
• Gather investigative material to assist adjusters and internal claims teams.
• Develop and deliver effective communications and reports to management.
• Support various teams regarding all aspects of insurance claims.
• Facilitate a team environment of feedback and idea sharing.
• Assist with special projects, including auditing and data reconciliation.
• Seek opportunities to gain broader insurance knowledge and cross-training.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience handling customer support issues, ideally in a safety or claims environment.
• Empathetic and sensitive to community needs.
• Operates with high standards and integrity.
• Excellent listening, communication, and writing skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong collaboration skills.

Location
